As a Recycling Attendant, you will play an integral role in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately, you will also:Inspect the load of each recycling truck entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areasAssist customers to unload contents and advise the most appropriate methods of disposing of contents by providing instructions for the separation of specified materials to ensure safety requirements are metDrive our Endeavour Foundation recycling trucks when fellow staff members are on annual leaveMaintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises to ensure Endeavour and the waste facility’s image is of the highest standardComply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheldWhat will you bring to the role?Superb customer service, great communication, and excellent time management skillsFlexibility to work during the week and one day every second weekend, penalty rates applyComfortable with heavy lifting and working on your feet all day You can work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for othersIntermediate computer skillsA current Driver's Licence and own transport due to limited public transport at some sitesHow you can join Endeavour Foundation?Please note, before commencing with Endeavour Foundation, you will be required to undertake a "Fit2Work" National Criminal History Check, hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card.Additionally, in line with the direction from State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Endeavour Foundation requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.If this is the opportunity for you, click ‘Apply’ below.
