We work in partnership with local councils to operate Tip Shops and Recycle Markets. Our Tip Shops and Recycle Markets recover good quality items which were destined to become landfill and that's where you come in!As our Re-use Shop Coordinator in Acacia Ridge, you will:Deliver an exceptional customer service to everyone visiting the reuse shop.Coordinate the daily operation of the retail shop.Handle cash in line with approved cash handling procedures and deposit all cash for banking to ensure information is correct.Manage the petty cash float and maintain accurate records.Price products as per agreed guidelines and keep on top of stock and floor layout to maximise potential sales.Work within and have regard for Workplace Health and Safety.Be familiar with (or willing to learn) ACCC legislation.Work with minimal supervision. About you:Superb customer service and great communication.Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate a diverse team.Passion for all things recycling and reducing waste.Availability to work every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.Excellent time management skills. Physically fit due to the demands of the role.Experience in identifying and valuing second hand items.License and own transport preferred due to limited public transport.Forklift ticket desirable, but not essential.Medium level of computer literacy and financial reporting. Benefits and PerksSalary Packaging Benefits!
