Join a dedicated team and build close relationships with your colleagues and other stakeholders.Key responsibilities:Maintenance of the fixed asset register and processing of asset additions, disposals, and transfersCalculation and processing of depreciationAssist with preparing and monitoring capital expenditure and budgets and cashflow forecastsMonitor work in progress and capitalising once projects are completedReconciliation of the fixed assets register to the General LedgerPreparation of fixed asset movements schedules and other asset reports for management reporting and year end audit purposesAdminister the capital expenditure approval process and maintain the register of approved capital expenditureProcess leases and maintain the leases registerConduct periodic asset physical verification and updating the fixed asset registerConducting periodic impairment and obsolescence reviews.What you will bringMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar roleDegree Qualifications in Accounting or Business are mandatory for this roleCPA or CA qualified or working towardsDemonstrated experience in maintaining fixed assets registersPrevious accounting experience within a large, complex organisationCompetent in accounting software packages (Dynamic AX preferred)Demonstrated problem solving skills: identifying problems, developing and implementing solutions using a logical and systematic approachExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate information to customers, finance, and non-finance staff Intermediate to advanced Excel and Microsoft Office programsWho We Are:We are people working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability.
