You will be responsible for leading a small team of Employee Relations Advisors in the provision of expert and timely employment relations and industrial relations advice, guidance and support. Duties include:Oversee and coordinate case management activities and support the resolution of complex employment relations and industrial matters.Provide clear and contemporary advice and support to business leaders on a broad variety of IR/ER issues, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to address issues proactively.Assign IR/ER matters to Employee Relations Advisors and manage IR/ER escalations, and ensure matters are managed timely, effectively and in line with legislative requirements.Represent the organisation as required with industrial organisations, including Fair Work Commission, Equal Opportunity Commission and other bodies.Support the organisation’s journey towards engaging a workforce through a period of transformational change into a new industrial landscape, including leader led ER/IR.Coach and develop Employee Relations Advisors to build their skills and support the continuous enhancement of capabilities.About YouRelevant tertiary qualifications in Law, HR Management, Industrial and/or Employee Relations or a related field.Thorough working knowledge of Federal and State employment legislation.Ability to operate as a trusted and expert partner to a diverse range of business leaders and stakeholders.Ability to distil complex industrial and technical information into practical, simple recommendations.Experience in managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters across a range of industries.
