This role will be part of a highly dynamic Analytics and Business Performance team providing support function to Lotteries and Fundraising team with detailed analysis and insights into supporter behaviour and the performance of Lotteries activities through use of statistical & data analytics techniques and the development of sophisticated BI reports and Machine Learning models.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilise BI applications to support planning, budgeting, and financial analysis of Lotteries & Fundraising activities.Conduct forecasting and forward-looking analysis for Lotteries Prize Homes and Ultimate Life Changer packages by implementing Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning Models and algorithms.Design and implement dashboards, reports and other various BI applications that accurately reflect the performance of Lotteries.Collaborate with members of the Sales and Marketing team to identify business requirements for the use of analytics, reporting, monitoring, and managing performance.Conduct testing and reconciliation of DW data loads and BI reports and fine tuning of the databases and queries.Support financial performance of Sales and Marketing through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.What you will bring to the roleTertiary qualifications in Data Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence & Data Visualization.Strong technology, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through data to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to all stakeholders.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suit of products including Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs relevant to the role.Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools (Power BI), databases (SQL server, Postgresql, etc) and CRM (Salesforce).Proficiency in SQL, Python or R and applied knowledge in Machine LearningUnderstanding of Analytics tools including Amplitude and Marketing tools such as Braze & Pardot.Experience with implementing full lifecycle BI/DW solutions with the ability to build, understand and execute complex data modelling.Extensive experience with BI report and dashboard development using tools such as Excel and PowerBI.Experience in analysing and gaining insights on various datasets using tools such as SQL, Python or R.Experience working in Lotteries / fundraising or Gaming Industries.
