This Permanent, Full-time position will play a vital role leading a team of 4-5 waste professionals and managing site operations while ensuring adherence to safety, recycling, and waste management protocols. As the primary point of contact for staff, you’ll oversee training, incident reporting, and the efficient running of the facility. Responsibilities will include:•    Supervising daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.•    Provide training, guidance and support to team members.•    Overseeing site safety, incident reporting and risk management.•    Coordinating waste management processes, recycling and customer services.•    Managing site cleanliness, stockpile organisation, and contractor communications.•    Preparing reports and maintaining operational records. What you can bring to the team•    Experience leading a team in an operational environment.•    Ability to manage risk, incident reporting and compliance.•    Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.•    Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.•    Comfortable with reporting and operational systems.•    A passion to recycle, reuse and upcycle.•    Hold or be willing to obtain a current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly Yellow Card).•    Hold or be willing to obtain a ‘Fit 2 Work’ National Police Check. Benefits and Perks•    Salary Packaging Benefits!
