Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will assist in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately and in line with contractual obligations. To be considered for this role you will be required to work every second weekend and have flexible availability on weekdays, to be called in at short notice. Responsibilities will include:Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises, including ensuring objects are either recycled or disposed appropriately.Inspect the load of each vehicle entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas.Assist drivers and customers to unload contents and advise on the most appropriate methods of disposing of loads.Provide instructions for the separation of specified materials to ensure safety requirements are met.Comfortable with physical work, repetitive bending to ground level and moving of furniture.Comply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures. What you can bring to the teamFlexibility to cover shifts at short notice, including weekend work.A licence and own transport is highly recommended due to working across multiple sites.Heavy Rigid Truck Licence is highly desirable.Attention to detail sorting and safely stacking items.Superb customer service, communication, and excellent time management. The ability to move and lift items as required when assisting customers to unload and move the contents of their loads.Ability to work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others.A passion to recycle, reuse and upcycle.Hold or be willing to obtain a current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly Yellow Card).Hold or be willing to obtain a ‘Fit 2 Work’ National Police Check. Benefits and PerksSalary Packaging Benefits! About The Role
