The importance of this role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Disability Portfolio Manager â¯to lead ourâ¯Homeâ¯services in theâ¯Toowoombaâ¯region. You will guide your teams to assist clients according to their NDIS plans and goals, with our services operating 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. This key role involves not only overseeing operations but also guiding and motivating your dedicated teams.
You will create and maintain aâ¯person-centred environment where your team will identify and solve problems to ensure that the people we are supporting are living their best lives and fulfilling their personal and other goals.
Other duties will include:
- Maintaining knowledge of Endeavour Foundation’s full suite of service offerings and implement strategies to identify and maximise opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Leading, guiding and supporting direct reportsâ¯in the resolution of escalations and concerns from families/carers/advocates.
- Developing and retaining a qualified workforce within the Portfolio to ensure teams are committed to person-centric supports, social inclusion, and establishing a professional relationship with individuals.
- Building the portfolio as a centre of excellence in the provision of disability accommodation services.
- Encouraging innovative and integrated approaches to improving the quality of service and streamlining work processes.
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum qualification of a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of theâ¯National Standards Disability Servicesâ¯andâ¯Quality & Safeguarding Framework, funding and organisational structure.
- Minimum 2 years proven experience successfully managing a diverse team.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching individuals to provide person centred supports, including to people with complex requirements to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours within the workplace.
- Experience with successfully managing site-based services within a related industry, such as the Disability Sector.
- Outstanding phone manner and ability to be contactable in emergency/crisis situations within standard business operating hours.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
