This Permanent, Part-time position will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and organised waste facility while providing exceptional service to our customers.Responsibilities will include:•    Operating a range of plant and machinery, including loaders and excavators, in accordance with WHS policies and contractual obligations.•    Directing customers from the weighbridge and ensuring proper item segregation.•    Handling stockpiles of waste, pushing, compacting, and coordinating contracted trucks for removal.•    Assisting customers in safely loading and unloading waste while ensuring compliance with WHS procedures.•    Reporting hazards, incidents, and safety concerns to maintain a secure workplace. What you can bring to the team•    Proven experience operating a range of machinery, including loaders and excavators.•    Relevant plant and machinery tickets (or willingness to obtain them).•    Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, supervisors, and contractors.•    The ability to work effectively within a team and follow WHS procedures.•    A current driver’s licence.•    Physical capability to assist customers in unloading and handling materials.•    Flexibility to work across different waste facilities as needed.•    A passion to recycle, reuse and upcycle.•    Hold or be willing to obtain a current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly Yellow Card).•    Hold or be willing to obtain a ‘Fit 2 Work’ National Police Check. Benefits and Perks•    Salary Packaging Benefits!
