About The Role:
Are you passionate about driving impact through grant writing and fostering meaningful partnerships? As the Grants and Communications Officer, you will play a key role in securing funding to support Endeavour Foundation's mission. Working alongside the Grants Lead and Fundraising team, you will research funding opportunities, craft compelling grant proposals, and nurture relationships with funders.
Beyond grant responsibilities, you will contribute to broader fundraising initiatives, including creating engaging content and collaborating with our marketing team to deliver a consistent and inspiring message.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with Endeavour Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals tailored to funder priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of grant submissions and acquittal reports, ensuring compliance with funding terms.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential funders.
- Represent Endeavour Foundation at networking events and meetings to secure funding opportunities.
- Prepare thank-you communications and certificates of appreciation to foster positive relationships with funders.
- Partner with internal teams to gather necessary information for grant submissions.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Support donor stewardship and contribute to fundraising initiatives as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date grants calendar and fundraising database.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of grants to ensure compliance and alignment with funding agreements.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional research and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management/CRM systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, English, or a related field (preferred).
- Certification in grant writing or fundraising (desirable).
- Proven success in grant writing with a strong track record of securing funding.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising principles and donor communications.
