Our 5,000 strong team operates over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria where we offer choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation.What can we offer you?An attractive remuneration package, including Salary Packaging, package up to $15,900 per year tax free!In addition to your tax-free benefit, you can also use up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Corporate Health Insurance plans and discounts with our corporate partnersAn Employee Assistance Program - a free and confidential phone-based counselling service available to all staff and immediate family membersEncouraged and supported ongoing professional development and diverse career opportunitiesPaid parental leaveAbout the RoleAs Endeavour Foundation continues to grow and transform, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Workplace Health & Safety Officer looking to take the next step in their WH&S journey!We will provide the right candidate with in-depth training and support to transition into a Business Partner capacity where you will take the lead in embedding a Safety Leadership culture across the organisation while supporting Endeavour Foundation Group’s commitment to ‘Zero Harm’ by providing specialist advice and guidance on health, safety and wellbeing to all staff, contractors and visitors.Reporting to the Enterprise Risk Manager, you will:Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive WH&S frameworkDevelop, review and update WH&S policies, procedures, guidelines, training documents etc. to ensure content is in line with the organisational and legislative requirementsProvide assistance to the WH&S and Rehabilitation and Return to Work team to ensure the objectives, goals and outcomes of the team are achieved in a timely mannerIdentify, monitor and evaluate significant WH&S hazards and risks and develop strategies to eliminate or minimise these risksMonitor and analyse safety data, identifying trends and feed recommendations into the relevant Safety Alerts and improvement activities.Conduct site audits and facilitate risk mitigation planning.Prepare and distribute data for end of month reports, and other reports to support managers with management of their portfolio.What you will bring to the rolePractical experience in a WH&S role and experience in rehabilitation & return to workPrevious experience in the "Human Services" stream of applying safety initiativesDemonstrated ability to understand and apply current WH&S legislation(AS4801 preferred), standards and guidelinesExperience or exposure to risk management, audit and investigations processesThe ability to implement WH&S initiatives including the capacity to plan, manage change and improved performanceStrong communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skillsHigh-level competence in the use and operation of Microsoft suite productsTertiary qualifications in WH&S or a related discipline.
