We are passionate and committed to securing high performing team members who will embrace and drive our purpose and values forward.The Role:We are currently recruiting a Customer Safeguarding advisor to join our team on a permanent full time basis. As the Customer Safeguarding Advisor, you will coordinate the investigation and management of customer incidents with frontline managers and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and learning initiatives that contribute to upholding our customers human rights. Key responsibilities will include:Monitor and analyse customer safeguarding incidents, identifying key customer risks and any violation of their human rights.Advocate for customer rights through the process of incident investigation by identifying the contributing factors and root causes of ‘customer harm’ and working with front line managers to identify preventative actions and strategies.  Undertake the investigation and management of critical and serious incidents reportable to the NDIS Commission.Partner with Service Delivery Leaders, to educate and influence the importance of customer safeguarding and human rights in day to day operationsIdentify trends and opportunities for improvement in partnership with front line managers.  Support the ongoing development, and implementation of processes to reduce preventable customer harm and the improvement in customer outcomes and experienceAll about you:Completed tertiary qualification in health (nursing, allied health, social work)Five years’ experience in community or disability support including experience in case management and incident investigationDemonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills to successfully identify key risks with a practical solution-based focusDemonstrates interpersonal skills to effectively manage conflict appropriately, communicates effectively and always balances the needs of all stakeholders with utmost respect to all peopleCollaborates effectively, develops talent, values difference and builds effective teams to bring about best use of resources to deliver disability servicesDemonstrates written and verbal communication skills, including report writing,  to ensure clear and concise information is relayed at all levels of the organisationWhat we offer you:Attractive salary packaging and novated leasing optionsCorporate health insurance plans, and discounts with our corporate partnersOngoing professional developmentEmployee Assistance ProgramArrange of different roster arrangementsPaid parental leaveOnsite cafeOnsite secure car park optionsHow you can join #team possible:Please include a written statement, outlining your suitability (including examples), and why you are interested in this role.  It is your opportunity to tell us about yourself, highlighting your transferable skills and experience including what you'll bring to the role and what you'll get out of it.Before commencing with Endeavour Foundation you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check and hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).Endeavour Foundation welcomes the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability because it will provide a platform for people to be heard and seek justice.
